Thanks for you emails, phone calls, gestures of support and thoughts.

The act of putting the house on the market enabled me to climb out of the pit of despair. It gave me an objective to prepare the house and garden, and a lot of work to get stuck into. It cleared my head of all the negative thoughts that had been building for weeks, and enabled me to think straight again. Making a decision and acting on it was the right thing to do, even if we do review that decision later.

This period, and the possibility of returning, has also brought home how dearly each of us value our friends and our family. We miss you, you know.
